I just finished Twilight a few hours ago. I think reading a 480 or whatever paged book in 2 and a half days is a record for me. My brother's girlfriend was so mad because she took a month. Over all, Vampires + Romance = Interesting Book. Can't wait to get my hands on the next one.

^.^ I love Twilight (I got the Movie today). I really don't like people who just hate it because other people obsess over it and they haven't even read it. IT annoys me! But still, I love the Series!!!!!

I've read it(them), I like her style of writing, hated the books. The first one had it merits sure but it was all down hill from there. I am one of those people who disliked it even more when it got over popularized (but I had read the books, I am one of the first people to have ever gotten it and read it -mom ordered it for me the entier series at that) I love werewolves and this did an interesting job showing them off BUT they were inferior in the story and that's just not right. Also note I am not a biggest fan of vampiers (as werewolves lovers generally aren't)
However I gave it just time (read three of the books and I couldn't stomach it anymore. I hope no one is angry at me, I do not mean to bash the book for those who love it! (I hope my books are popular and well received too) And I will say it had its merits, like I said above her style was well presented, and for having young kids she should get some kind of award.
I love Stephine Myer (she came to our school to speak and sign books of which I partook - a very good friend of mine stood in BNN for hours and got me a copy of her alien? series and a ticket so I went with her. It was very inlighteneing and I grew to like her as the time went on. Know I have nothing against her, she's a very funny young women and was really good with the fans -hoonestly it was the best book signing I had been to they were all chanting for Edward and like the goof I am I shouted at the top of my lungs /after warning my neighbors to plug there ear/ JACOB! And started a WHOLE howling of his name that last forever!!!!
If I have to pick a side well you should know it's with the werewolves! That's the only time I step in, to pay my 2 cents and to watch the carnage begin (my group of friends love to tear one another apart...its fun, but very dangerous! I swear I'm ganna make them sign something that says they won't sue each other for the harm done (we have a few future law students amoung us) at any rate...
Well know you know my view (hopefully ya'll wont disown me....*looks around* you wont...right??? *bite lip* oh dear...
^-^ WEREWOLVES ROCK!!!!!!!! Vampier drool! XP

A read the first one in a day! I thought it was brilliant and is my favourite in the series ^o^
But, like Ookami, I only read the first three before I got sick of them. I don't know why though... Like Ooka, I love her writing style ~ I just wasn't captured into it like others were.

Alien series, not technically a series. Yet. There's only one book in it, called The Host. In my personal opinion, it is much better than the Twilight Saga, mostly because it doesn't involve vampires...( Dude, I think Twilight completely re-envisioned the book industry, because if you look through any of the current books for teens, you will only see one topic- VAMPIRES. Seriously, the next time you go to a Walmart or something, check it out. It's creepy.) and also because it was simply written better than Twilight or any of its sequels. Possibly because she wrote it after she had already published four books???
I know that probably not a lot of you will agree with me, but I still kinda wanted to show there was another book written by the same author that isn't Twilight, because that's kinda all that's talked about here...
