Name: Furai Kagerou Age: 17
Appearance:
Furai stands at five feet eleven inches tall and is slim and toned. Her skin is pale and unblemished, with the exception of a blemish on the outside of her right eye. Her eyes are ashy grey and normally glittering with disdain or self-righteousness. Furai’s hair is long, shiny and straight and midnight black, stopping more than halfway down her back.
Fashion:
Unlike best friend Hana, Furai doesn’t search for the latest fashions- she sets the latest fashions. Whatever Furai decides to buy seems to become the next great trend. She usually keeps her hair straight and simple, with no accessories, but does curl it on occasion. She loves makeup, but keeps it simple and elegant, using only eyeliner, eye shadow and coloured lip glosses to accent her naturally stunning features. She doesn’t go to the spa as frequently as her friend Hana, and does her own eyebrows and nails except on special occasions. Furai’s favourite colour to wear is red, but she also enjoys dark yet still colourful shades of green, blue, and purple, and she almost always wears some black. She wears absolutely type of clothing, from leggings to skinny jeans to sweaters to tube tops, and pulls her outfits off effortlessly. Unlike Hana, Furai doesn’t wear impractical shoes. She does wear heels, boots, and other stylish shoes, but not at the expense of her feet. Furai loves jewellery but doesn’t wear too much, and she has a collection of beautiful pendants.
Personality:
Furai is first and foremost the strong and silent type. She has an air of effortless nonchalance about her, although she usually does care about what is happening around her. She does have a temper, but you’d have to really anger her for her to show it, because for the most part her face is devoid of emotion. She comes across as cold, arrogant and judgemental but nothing could be farther from the truth. She is very intelligent and loves people-watching, and when she’s bored and alone she’ll sit on a bench in a park, a small smile on her face and amusement in her eyes as she watches those having fun around her.

Waitressing:
Work Ethic: Furai works as a waitress whenever Hana isn’t working, and actually enjoys the job. However, when her best friend is working she is forced to sit with Hana while she does nothing. She has a refined palate and often acts as food critic during the days she isn’t waitressing, tasting everything Keiichiro has to offer and making suggestions.
Uniform: Ruby with Black accents.
History:
Furai was raised quite a bit like Kia in the fact that she is the only child of wealthy parents and has always been told what to do and how to act. A major difference in their lives, however, is that for the most part, Furai always obeys her parents. Her parents, Akane and Hiroto Kagerou, are both founders of prestigious companies, a clothing line and a talent agency respectively. From a very young age, she has been raised to be a respectable young lady. She was taught to be quiet, respectful to those of higher power, and to only accept the best. She learned how to mask her emotions from a very young age, after accepting that obeying her parents was easier than arguing with them. She has a falsely happy relationship with her parents, but the tension is easily visible to those who know them. As an incentive for “good behaviour”, Furai is given an unlimited supply of money, although she knows not to spend too much. Furai still loves her parents, but has always wondered what her life could be like had she been raised with support and the ability to choose her own life.
Furai is enrolled in the Besuto school system, and is very grateful towards her parents for giving her the best education in all of Japan. Furai adores school, because she can earn a name for herself without her parents’ money and status doing it for her. She has a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average, and also manages to constantly text and chat with her best friend Hana. Her teachers all love her work, but wish that she could influence Hana a bit for the better. Furai’s favourite subjects are Math, Languages and Sciences. At school, people automatically assume she is uncaring and cold, but she can’t help how she appears to others. Her closest friend is Hana Hachi, although the two have very different personalities. When the pair are alone, Hana becomes more subdued and Furai perks up a bit, and the two talk about anything and care for one another very much.
Furai was injected with her Mew DNA along with Hana. During a long weekend and at the end of a long day of shopping the girls walked into Café Mew Mew for a break. Furai marvelled over the menu while Hana drooled over the blonde co-owner of the Café, stopping her reading when Hana began to get frustrated. Unable to calm the girl down, Furai attempted to stop her from leaving without paying for their food. She was dragged outside by her furious best friend, and was stopped by Kia. A flash of red light stopped the argument between Hana and Kia, and Furai fell unconscious, waking up in the chef Keiichiro’s room. He gently explained what had happened to her and Hana and gave Furai her power pendant. She took the entire concept with a bit more of an open mind than her best friend, and transformed without a second thought at the arrival of a Praying Mantis Chimera Anima. It caught her off guard however, and sent her flying, alerting Hana to the monster. The pair joined forces and managed to defeat the mutant and have been Mews ever since. Furai does her best to keep Hana calm during battle and work, and Ryou, Keiichiro, and the other Mews are very grateful for her efforts.

Lack of Leadership: Furai would hate to be the leader, and is used to being the quiet follower. When left to her own devices she finds herself at a loss as to what to do.

Caring: Furai is always judged by others before they know her. Now that she has people who actually want to get to know her, she fears for their safety very much and can act irrationally because of this.
Am I the only one who thinks she strongly resembles Zakuro? What do you guys think? Is she different enough to be her own person or are there things that I should change? Either way, I am extremely attached to her already, which is weird since she is one of my newest Mews that I've never thought about before...
Also, her mother has the same first name as the leader of the Dark Mews! COINCIDENCE?! Yes, actually, there is no relation other than I loved the name for both of them.
