Name: Tori Okashi (Bird Candy) Age: 14
Appearance:
Tori has tangled and dull long black hair that is thin and stops at her waist. Her eyes are very large and a plain brown, and she looks extraordinarily average. She also has dozens of freckles spattered across her face in clumps, which add to her nerdy appearance. She doesn’ t have any acne, and has a thin but pretty frame, but this is hard to notice when you’re focussed on her bug like eyes and scraggly hair. She is five feet tall and weighs one hundred pounds.
Fashion:
Much to her mother’s extreme disappointment, Tori couldn’t care less about and is actually somewhat against fashion. She never styles her hair, leaving it a tangled mess because she doesn’t see the point in styling it, and never wears makeup. She wears her school uniform as much as she can and frequently gets into arguments with her mother when she is asked to change or dress up for a social event. Tori always wears thick, purple-rimmed glasses which make her dull eyes look even larger than they are. Tori firmly believes that people, especially girls her age, spend way too much time and money on following the latest trends and looks down on them.
Personality:
Tori is a quick-tempered nerd. She spends as much time as possible studying, and her grades are immaculate because of this. Her brain absorbs information like a sponge, and she has the gift of remembering what she learns. She is an open book emotionally, and will cry and get angry very easily. She is very quick to trust people despite having multiple experiences of people letting her down. She is a very logical person with a strong distaste for fiction and only believes what logic and science say to be true. Tori is very blunt and lacks a sense of humour.
Facts/Quirks:
1: Tori doesn’t like nature as she has a strong pollen allergy, but cares about the state of the environment.
2: Tori isn’t very upset that she’s a loner, and would rather be left alone as much as possible by everyone.
3: Tori doesn’t feel differently towards people now that she is a Mew, and isolates herself whenever she can.
4: Tori is very afraid of fire and everything related to it- heat, smoke, ashes, burns, etc.
5: Tori is very fragile and has a strong distaste for nearly every animal with the exception of most birds.
6: Tori wants a solitary, practical and brainy job… she just doesn’t have any ideas as to what that might be.
7: Tori remembers everything she needs to (Like Klaus Baudelaire!), but often misses out on the big picture.
8: Tori’s favourite foods are rice, vegetables and lean meats. Boring but get the job done, much like her.
9: If Tori could change one thing about her appearance it would be absolutely anything. (Sad, I know)
10: If Tori could change one thing about her personality it would be her inability to control her emotions.
Waitressing:
Work Ethic: Tori tries her best to be a good employee but gets flustered easily and can be clumsy.
Uniform: Tangerine Orange with Pear Green accents.
History:
Tori grew up a single child with the worst type of parents possible for the type of girl she is. Her moth, Keisei, was a beauty pageant contestant in her younger years and is exceedingly (yet very fakely) beautiful. She always wanted a daughter that could follow in her footsteps, and ever since Tori was young Keisei knew that she had neither the appearance nor the personality for it. Since then, she has regarded her daughter as nothing more than a lost cause. Tori’s father, Shou, is a fairly famous and quite handsome actor. He wouldn’t care much about his daughter’s appearance as she prefers to stay inside anyway, except his co-workers make jokes at his daughter’s expense, and this is starting to irritate him. He doesn’t want his reputation being tarnished by his daughter, and wishes she would just act more like his wife. Tori comes from a fairly wealthy family but doesn’t indulge in it at all, and firmly resents her judgemental parents.
Based on her thirst for knowledge, you would expect Tori to absolutely adore school. However, Tori finds the people nauseating and the work too simple and boring. Teachers can’t help but be impressed by her brain, but find her bluntness and arrogance very rude and disrespectful. Her fellow students will openly stare at her as she walks down the halls, wondering why she is the way that she is. Tori can honestly say that she has no friends at school, or outside of school. She doesn’t exercise or take part in any extra-curricular activities. In short, Tori lives a very sad and lonely life, although she doesn’t see it that way and is quite happy the way that she is.
Tori received her Mew DNA while on an errand for her mother. Her parents were hosting a lavish party for some of Shou’s colleagues, and Keisei wanted pastries from Café Mew Mew, having visited the Café once before. However, she had to spend the day getting herself ready, and Keiichiro doesn’t deliver, so she reluctantly sent her daughter to do the job for her. She was injected with the DNA before arriving at the Café, and woke up inside the Café. She was highly skeptical about the idea of being a half-bird superhero, but after being given the scientific explanation she had no choice but to believe it. She received the pastries and her pendant from Keiichiro and returned home. Later that day she heard her mother scream and saw her being attacked by a cat Chimera Anima. She transformed and found herself unsure of how she should battle. However, she saw the admiration and jealousy of Tori’s Mew appearance in her mother’s eyes, and the smugness at being more beautiful than her gave her the confidence she needed to win the battle. Tori enjoys the beauty and confidence boost she gets from being in her Mew Form, and can somewhat relate to Mew Plum, but doesn’t care about any of her companions. She fights and comes in to work when she needs to, but rarely speaks to the other Mews or Ryou or Keiichiro. She automatically puts herself on the outskirts of any group she is forced to be with, and because of this never gets to know anyone. She is very narrow-minded and has convinced herself that she is happy the way that she is, and doesn’t give anyone a chance because of this.

Tori wears a black mask on her face to cover her eyes, making them appear startlingly purple. She wears a very short dress with a low back with thin coral and pear vertical stripes. She wears elegant, elbow-length, Coral coloured gloves and matching knee-length boots. Her choker, garter, and arm bands are all coral with pear green accents. She is amazingly beautiful in her Mew Form and knows it
Mew Mark: a feather with heart outlines inside it in between her shoulder blades.

Confidence: Tori’s beautiful Mew Form gives her a ridiculous ego boost, making her stronger.
Intelligence: Tori has read about thousands of animals and therefore their weaknesses.
Isolation: Tori’s love of isolation continues in Mew Form; She won’t be distracted by the needs of teammates.
Battle Weaknesses:
Rudeness: Tori’s self-centered, arrogant, holier-than-thou attitude towards her fellow Mews despite their good intentions mean that if they ever had to leave someone behind, Tori would be the one.
Arrogance: Tori is very arrogant and prideful in her Mew Form, and her feathers can be ruffled quite easily, (Ah puns xP) distracting her from a battle.
Impulsiveness: Tori always plans out her next move and is never impulsive, and her lack of adrenaline and instinct can affect her performance in battle.
Urgh... she really bothers me. I have a distinct feeling that she would be homophobic and I'm thinking of making her become a Dark Mew part way through because she just seems like the type that would just jump on board the Alien ship for all its knowledge and technology. I hope that happens and one of my Mews just wails on her xD Opinions?
