In her civilian form, Rabenda has wavy, blueish-purple hair to her shoulders. She stands at 5'0" (152.4 cm) and has light blue eyes.
She's curvy at the hips, but has a small bust size and is slightly chubbier compared to the other Mew Mews.

Rabenda is usually cheerful and polite to her customers, doing anything she can to help around the Cafe. And if things are not to the customers satisfaction, she puts a little blame on herself, but usually tries to maintain a calm composure. Despite this, she can get flustered from time to time, especially when she begins to develop a crush on Keiichiro Akasaka, though she tries to keep these feelings to herself for professional reasons, and occasionally fails doing so. Her waitress uniform is a lighter purple than Zakuro's (in other words, Rabenda's uniform is a lilac or pastel purple color) with the standard apron and cafe-headband with light blue embroidery in which her uniform has on the fringe of the skirt as well. and she has the standard cafe shoes with a periwinkle-colored heart embroidered on the tongue of the shoe.
History:
Rabenda was born March 27 to her mother Haruko Murasaki and father Satoshi Murasaki. She has an older brother named Yasuhiro in which she doesn't socialize much due to him being enrolled in a university away from Tokyo. As a child, she loved reading and performed well in class, though she struggled with Math classes. Though being a child, she was impulsive and lacked patience as most kids do. She was a target for bullying starting around age 10 and had to seek counseling for a time. This plus the factor of maturing and growing up has changed that impulsive behavior to her becoming more patient and quiet. It also crippled her self-esteem for a while and would cause her to feel insecure about herself and how others perceive her. Despite this, she grew more selfless and compassionate to others. As she further matured up to age 17 into the present her insecurities have improved, though the damage is still hard to rub away and still has moments of blaming herself unnecessarily. She would often find solas in the worlds she would create within her mind and her notebook. It was then she realized her ambition that she would be an author. During this time of maturity, Rabenda has grown more intuitive and her empathic nature increased. She became more in tune to the environment and enjoyed nature, admiring it's splendor in which many people have taken for granted. It was this reason she felt the need to visit an exhibit on Red Data Animals and strolled around casually. Little did she know that she was the one being researched on.
After the exhibit, she sat near a fountain in the park, writing in her notebook as she normally would when she came to a block. Fustrated she asked the heavens for a sign of inspiration. Well, much to her dismay the earth began shaking around her and then a red light shone in the sky. Before she knew what hit her, she felt herself grow dizzy and fainted nearby the fountain. It was then she met what would be her Red Data Animal--The Violet Dancer Damselfly. It flew right at her and she shielded her face in recoil, but her body absorbed the insect and she had a wonderful sensation come over her. When she came-to she wondered what happened before realizing how late it was and that she should head home. She grabbed her notebook, but her pen went missing. She fished for it in the fountain, but something else caught her eye. It was a sparkling, gold pendant shimmering in the water. Upon picking it up, she noticed a heart-shaped engraving on it. She looked around, but no one was in sight that could have dropped it. As she stared at the pendant, she thought it would be wrong to take it because it doesn't belong to her and someone might come looking for it--Or perhaps it was someone's wish that they couldn't spare any change for. But some instinct inside her told her to take it, that somehow it did in fact belong to her. Looking around once more, she relented and pocketed the trinket, and as she headed home she commented how weird the day had gotten. And then laughed to herself saying that when she asked for inspiration she didn't think the Heavens would take her literally.
The next day, she goes back to the park, trying to see if the person that dropped the pendant would come looking for it. However, she was side-tracked when she saw a pink cafe. Her stomach growled, urging her onward and it was then her destiny would truly change. After filling her stomach, she went back to the park to find an giant, mutated squirrel attacking everyone. It was then a team of magical girls known as Tokyo Mew Mew arrived. She felt a burning sensation in her pocket, where she kept the pendant and pulled it out. Her instincts were calling out to her to transform. And ever since this event, she became a part of the Mew Mews, working as a waitress by day and saving the planet by night.
Mew Name: Mew Lavender
DNA: Variable Dancer/Violet Dancer Damselfly (A. f. violacea)
Appearance:
In her Mew form her hair is pulled back into a low-hanging ponytail and her hair turns into a lighter shade of periwinkle and her eyes get slightly lighter as well. A pair of damselfly wings sprout from her shoulders as well
Costume:
Her color scheme is a light purple/lilac and a light navy blue with the blue color apparent on the accents of her outfit (arm puffs, garter, boots and a three-pronged mask over her eyes) while she wears the light purple corset and a knee-length petal skirt. Her boots are knee-length and have 1" heels on them.
Mew Mark: Her mew Mark is a pair of dragonfly wings on the inside of her left ankle.
Weapon(s):
Lavender Damselflute
Attack(s):
Reborn Lavender Serenade: An attack where Mew Lavender plays a melody on a flute-like weapon which can cause the enemy to be drowsy and slow it down for a duration of time
Battle Strengths and Weaknesses:
Mew Lavender has the ability of flight, which allows her to travel a little easier, and her agility is also an asset. Her physical strength is average, though her defense needs improvement. Her stamina is average despite her instinctual agility and will get winded after a long battle. She isn't able to hold her breath for long durations, so battles involving toxic gasses would be dangerous. This combined with her sensitive wings and fear of deep, open water also means underwater battles would be a very bad idea. With her attack, she plays a melody on a flute-like weapon which can cause the enemy to be drowsy and slow it down, though if the animal the chimera preys on is deaf or doesn't rely on hearing it will make her attack ineffective. Her selflessness and compassion is both a strength and weakness in it's own right. She cares about her friends and would do anything to save them or help them in some way. So if a friend was to be captured, she'd go out of her way and potentially put herself in danger to save them. This is exacerbated when she forms a crush on Keiichiro and fears of putting him in danger because of those feelings.
