Cadmium sees himself as Deep Platinum's trusted adviser. When Deep Platinum is too busy to tell the aliens their mission, it's his duty to deliver the missions. Due to his high ranking, he feels like he is very responsible for how missions are carried out and whether the missions were failures or successes. Out of the rest of the Metallic Rainbow, Cadmium is more of the logical thinker. Due to this, Deep Platinum has allowed Cadmium to experiment on his free time. Thus causing the Dark Mews to be brought up.
Appearance:
Cadmium is 6'0" (182.88 cm) and a muscular build. He has platinum-blonde hair and green eyes. His color scheme is yellow and white.

History:
Cadmium was the first to be initiated in the Metallic Rainbow, and was appropriately named co-leader. Cadmium then helped advise Deep Platinum and watched as countless of other aliens were tested and pointed out if one of them has what it takes to be a member. Once all of the members were together, Deep Platinum assigned him with the task to assign missions to certain aliens and provide more information from their prey.
Cadmium was also in charge of looking after one of the members--Lithium, a sickly young alien girl. Cadmium is the only one deep Platinum fully trusts with her.
Attacks
Chimera Animals--Can fuse animals, mainly mamals.
Elemental Attack of Light Energy--Is able to manipulate the light of surrounding areas to blind enemies or to catch them by surprise in the dark.
However, his elemental attack does have its limits. For example, he can make internal lights from buildings brighter and darker. When it comes to the outside, he can only make the sun brighter and even then takes up a lot of energy. Plus, if the sky is overcast, then this is a great disadvantage for him.
Relationships:
Deep Platinum: His leader. He vowed to do his best to carry out orders and remain a loyal servant to his cause.
The Metallic Rainbow: His colleagues. He views himself not only as their co-commander, but also as a big brother figure, and often jokes that he has to constantly babysit them everytime.
Copper: "She really needs to change her attitude. I can't stand how she acts around me and her peers. But it is out of my control."
Cobalt: Sighs "The number of times I had to discipline him from hitting on the crew members..."
Antimony: "Her...vanity will lead to her downfall, I'm sure. Sometimes I wonder how she was able to join the Metallic Rainbow as she's afraid to get just a tiny scratch on her skin, or break a nail..."
Lithium: "Deep Platinum assigned me to care for her. He trusts only me to check up on her. She seems like a sweet young girl, constantly asking how everyone is doing. And there are times where she said she wishes she could be more useful to us. There are times where I can't help but wonder..."

"Yes, I have a mission for you to pass onto Cobalt, supply of the Mew Aqua is growing limited, he is to find some and bring it here promptly. If trouble arises, tell him to crush the mew mews." "Will do." Cadmium replied. "Oh, speaking of which, how has your experiment going?" Deep Platinum asks. "There is still much to be done, Deep Platinum-sama. But I feel that it shouldn't be long now before operation Dark Light begins." Cadmium replied. "I see. Well, as soon as you're able to test your work, show me what you have." Deep Platinum said, turning his back to Cadmium. "Yes sir." With that final reply, Cadmium left Deep Platinum's office.
