Name: Kuro Kuma (Black Bear) Age: 15
Appearance: Kuro has dark mahogany hair in a bob cut with bangs swept to the right side of her face. She has four white blonde streaks in her hair, matching her sister's hair colour, and golden eyes. She is five feet nine inches tall with a strong yet feminine build.
Fashion:
Kuro is the tomboy or at least the less girly of the two twins. Despite this, she will wear a similar outfit to her sister on any given day, and the duo switches between pants and skirts with regularity. Kuro prefers darker colours of black, brown, darker shades of red, purple, and green, and gold. She wears a bracelet made of melanite (black garnet) studded with rubies, a gift from Ruby, her mentor, on her right wrist. She trains in dark brown or black sweatpants and a white tank top.
Personality:
Kuro is the extroverted and short-tempered twin, but spends more of her time working with animals than other people. She is loud, stubborn, and rebellious, and enjoys living in the moment and being active. She is a hands on learned who occasionally acts without thinking, but her instincts usually help her out of any unpleasant situations she gets herself into.
Facts/Quirks:
1. Kuro is darker than her sister in appearance and personality. Together they balance out, but dealing with only one or the other can become difficult.
2. Kuro loves being a mew, loves fighting and loves the benefits her animal DNA provide her with.
3. Kuro is loyal to the Metallic Rainbow, her sister, and her mentor Ruby, and truly admires Akane, secretly wanting to be closer to her. Should the true fate of their parents be discovered, however, their loyalty would change.
4. Kuro can be a rebel for rebellion's sake, and this can make taking orders from others difficult to swallow.
5. Kuro doesn't like reptiles, or anything with scales.
6. Kuro's goal is to help the Metallic Rainbow seize control of Earth, and then finish her apprenticeship with Ruby to help develop Chimera Animas as well as researching animals in other ways. Before becoming a Dark Mew she wanted to become a veterinarian.
7. Kuro lives with her sister in one of the Dark Mew dormitories and has special access to Ruby's rooms.
8. Kuro loves berries, fish, and red meat and has a strong weakness for honey.
9. Kuro likes how her dark features contrast with her pale skin as well as how she resembles her sister.
10. Kuro wishes she could be a little more open-minded with some things, as well as having some more patience to allow her to think first.
Work:
Kuro is very enthusiastic and only mildly sarcastic about her work. She enjoys developing Chimera Animas with Ruby, liking the mix of animals and kick butt weaponry. She also trains hard with her sister, and as their styles of fighting are so different they are always a good challenge for one another.
She works with Copper less frequently than her sister, but enjoys providing input on occasion of which DNA would best suit a prospective Mew.
History:
Kuro and her sister Shiro grew up in a middle class family as the only children of their parents. Her father was a police officer and her mother a teacher. The sisters grew up in different worlds from one another, rarely interacting due to their different personalities. Kuro always felt second-best next to her sister in the eyes of those that new them, which further fueled her rebellious nature. The only time that the sisters could be counted on to be together was during fencing practice. Shiro's father was adamant that his children be able to defend themselves, and the pair grew up with foils in their hands. It was during one of these fencing lessons that Amber discovered them, and she reported it to Copper who set about plotting a way to obtain them. She kidnapped them on their way back from school one day, instilling within them "memories" that their parents had been killed in a fire (blending Akane's memories into the scene) and that they had been rescued by the aliens. Devastated upon awakening, the pair transitioned into minions of the Metallic Rainbow with ease, throwing themselves into training with enthusiasm to not think about the deaths of their parents. The one positive thing from their new situation was that it brought them closer together to the point where they're rarely separated and compliment one another beautifully. Since boarding the Metallic Rainbow's ship, Kuro spends her time training, developing Chimera Animas with Ruby, and staying close to her sister.

Kuro's costume is identical to her sister's save for the colour and she wears shorts instead of a skirt. She wears the same halter-style top that covers half of her stomach in an espresso colour, and matching shorts. Like her sister, her gloves are elbow-length and her boots are knee-length with honey trim, but both are the same dark brown as the rest of her outfit and her garter, choker and arm bands are espresso accented with honey gold.

DNA: Kuro's energy is heightened even further with all of the abilities her bear DNA affords her.
Battle Weaknesses:
Planning: Never one to plan, Kuro leaps into action, sometimes without thinking, and this problem often partners with her over-confidence, as she can bite off more than she can chew.
Rebelliousness: Kuro's rebelliousness can make her act against authority, which can spell trouble for her on and off the battlefield.
