Name: Kurocha Shima (Black Tea Island)
Age: 16, born October 29
Gender: I'll let you figure that out for yourself~
Appearance: Deep blue, almost violet eyes and black hair that goes down to their waist, usually tied in a low ponytail to keep it out of their face. Around 5'6" and a bit on the thin side, but not too much. Usually wear jeans/shorts depending on the weather and shirts with designs on them, as well as a jacket. Goes to a school where wearing the uniform is not required (minus the opening/closing of the year ceremonies) so they never wear their school uniform. Has glasses but usually wears contacts instead.
Personality: On the outside, Kurocha is quite brash, but that's just an act to not seem weak. They tend to get frustrated at a lot of things, and can't really seem to agree with anyone outside of the other Dark Mews. But on the inside, they're actually really nice and supportive. Kurocha can be most helpful when help is most needed. They want to show you they aren't as bad as they seem, but doesn't quite know how to do so. Eventually, they get over it, but they still keep up the cold and harsh exterior in public.
History: Kurocha was born into a loving family where they spent the first few years of their life as a happy, healthy child. But that all changed when their mother became ill after having their younger sister. Their father began working more and more to distract himself, and as a result, Kurocha had to learn to fend for themself and their sister, Mari, at a young age, and Mari would have to fend for herself as she got older. When Kurocha was eight and Mari was four, their mother passed away and their father put them both in an orphanage, as he wouldn't be able to provide for all three of them and he knew that this was the best option.
Not long after Kurocha and Mari were put into the orphanage, they were separated from each other after some people came and adopted Mari. Kurocha did their best to keep them from being separated, but in the end, Mari was taken away from them anyways. For two years after this, Kurocha was put through varying degrees of torture and misery in foster homes and lost their faith in humanity, but one day they were put in a foster home with a nice couple who were very generous. They stayed there, and started attending a proper school for the first time in two years. They missed a lot of material, but caught up quicker than expected. After that, things calmed down for a good while until their last year of middle school brought a special kind of hell with it. They were bullied for being 'too quiet and weird' for at least three months, until they finally decided to fight back by putting up their harsh outside self. After that, everyone was too scared to even approach them.
The day when they became a Dark Mew, they had a run in with a one Kyarameru Nagata. They were both headed home from their different schools, when Kyara, not paying attention, threw a straw wrapper from her bubble tea in Kurocha's direction. This irritated Kurocha, and then they both got up in arms about it (thanks to Kyara's wits and and Kurocha's brashness) and have been enemies ever since. (This was after Kyara became a Mew Mew) Kurocha headed into an abandoned alleyway where they normally killed time after school, only to find a couple of robbers planning their next crime. Fearing getting caught, one of them clubbed Kurocha over the head with a wrench and the robbers ran away. That night, Kurocha was found by some of the aliens from the Metallic Rainbow. The aliens woke them up and asked if they'd like to become a Dark Mew. Wanting to get back at humanity for treating her so cruelly, they said yes, and the aliens took them aboard the ship to become a Dark Mew.
Mew Name: Dark Mew Tea
DNA: Island Fox
Appearance: Their eyes turn from almost violet to a dark shade of magenta, their hair gains a few curls, and they gain silver fox ears and a fox tail
Costume: In their Dark Mew form, Kurota wears a short, black dress (except it's more like a dress with a built-in skort) that goes about a third of the way down to their knees. There are silver ribbons everywhere for accent, and they have a pair of silver gloves.
Mew Mark: A small moon just diagonally down left of their left eye
Weapon(s): Tea Scythe: The Tea Scythe is about 2/3 the size of the scythe you'd imagine the Grim Reaper having. It has a black handle with light silver decorations and a silver blade. Despite the name, it's not an *actual* scythe. (Think of it like Celty's scythe from Durarara!!, if that makes sense) When upgraded, the light silver decorations have a hint of blue shimmer to them.
Attack(s): Ribbon Tea Enigma: Sends out an opaque smoke-like fog that confuses the target so another Dark Mew can take said target out.
Ribbon Tea Corruption: The effectiveness of this attack depends entirely on Kurocha's emotional state when using it. It can do anything from make a few cracks in the Earth to destroying an entire city's population. It's that powerful. The upgraded attack.
Battle Strengths and Weaknesses:
+ Is very good at sensing targets
+ Ribbon Tea Enigma can cover more ground quicker the later it's used
+ Can easily weaken targets without them noticing until it's too late
+ Fox powers give them the upper hand in sneakiness and surprise attacks
- In most cases, can't take out the targets on their own, requires at least one other Dark Mew with them to do so
- Clouds and rain weaken them, seeing as sunshowers don't happen that often
- Depending on their emotional state, Ribbon Tea Corruption has a limit as to how many times it can be used at once, and it takes a very long time to fully charge that up again
Okay there's a very good chance I messed something up here because it's past one am here and this took a very, very, VERY long time to write (plus I should've been asleep half an hour ago) so yeah I'LL FIX STUFF IN THE MORNING 'KAYBYE.
